The products and services offered by our two business segments, Structured Property Financing and Consulting/Services, help promote sustainable development in many different ways. Examples include our own strict culture of integrity, the standards we expect our business partners and the properties we finance to meet, and our wide range of services designed to increase sustainability in the property and housing industries and the energy sector. Nevertheless, the biggest contribution to society that we make is through our responsible and profitable business model: this is the basis for, and cornerstone of, everything we do.
We focus on 12 core action areas. These were identified using a materiality analysis and then discussed and examined in detail with a range of stakeholder groups. They also dictate the structure of this report.
